Best Pain Relief with Acupressure Mats for back pain, sciatica, strained muscles and joint pain :: Muscle Pain Relief
Muscle Pain Relief
Acupressure Mat is the best pain solution in your muscle pain management
Your applicator should be placed on the outer and side parts of the joint, making sure that the points are not directly over nerves or veins.
Please do not use your applicator in the hollow of the knees, the inside of the elbows, armpits and or groin area.
Once your applicator is positioned it should be secured using an elastic bandage. Apply sufficient pressure to induce a moderate pricking pain. The treatment should last between 20 and 60 minutes or until the joint pain disappears. The length of the treatment period depends on the severity of your condition and differs from person to person.
Whilst using the applicator on joints it is a good idea to move and bend your joints slowly. In doing so, you will increase the effectiveness of the applicator.
Muscle pain is most frequently related to tension, overuse, or muscle injury from exercise or
physically-demanding work. In these situations, the pain tends to involve specific muscles and starts during or just after the activity. It is usually obvious which activity is causing the pain.
Muscle pain also can be a sign of conditions affecting your whole body, like some infections (including the flu) and disorders that affect connective tissues throughout the body (such as lupus).
One common cause of muscle aches and pain is fibromyalgia, a condition that includes tenderness in your muscles and surrounding soft tissue, sleep difficulties, fatigue, and headaches.
Causes
The most common causes are:
• Injury or trauma including sprains and strains
• Overuse: using a muscle too much, too soon, too often
• Tension or stress
Muscle pain may also be due to:
• Certain drugs, including:
o ACE inhibitors for lowering blood pressure
o Cocaine
o Statins for lowering cholesterol
• Dermatomyositis
• Electrolyte imbalances like too little potassium or calcium
• Fibromyalgia
• Infections, including:
o Influenza (the flu)
o Lyme disease
o Malaria
o Muscle abscess
o Polio
o Rocky Mountain spotted fever
o Trichinosis (roundworm)
